I see you are using firmware 1.1.1.14 - I have upgraded mine to 1.1.4.18
which seemed to make presence work better, although I have to admit
I didn't play extensively before upgrading. However I'm not sure if
that's a 'supported' firmware from our point of view - I'll have to see

I've had more luck with Asterisk BLF than the Presence option.

Lamp 1 being lit green is normal, AFAIK green means registered, red
means on the phone, blinking red means ringing.
In my setup I have a GXP 2000 watching a snom using the asterisk BLF
option, and if I ring the snom using another (third) phone, the GXP 2000
light goes blinking red while ringing and solid red when answered.
We'd probably have to get some more traces of what's happening but I
don't think I'll have time tomorrow.
