RE: [Newsip] hello newsip

Hi Peter,

I completely agree with what are saying. I guess my ignorance has got the better of me as I don't understand how to reply to an individual or an admin via a 'list'. Although this list should not necessarily form a debate I think it should be an easy platform for discussion. In my opinion I just think that a forum type platform would be more appropriate and be easier for participants to contribute, share and review issues and progress.

A forum would be so much easier to share discussion and views. Only further providing feedback from Gradwell to customers and vice versa.

Gradwell do a great job with the services offered not to mention the excellent support and accountability when issues do occur. A forum, in my opinion, is the missing link to bring customers together to share experiences.

I don't think this suggestion relates simply to newsip. I think a forum platform would be beneficial to all the wholesale customer base. It helps us all feel more connected and in tune with what is happening and what others are experiencing. I find it difficult dealing with list groups but accept that might just be my own shortcoming.

Typically our customer base has prefered email discussion lists to web
forumns, but perhaps that is changing.

I don't really want this email list to turn into a debate on the
subject, so if you have views on the subject, please ensure you email me
directly, and do not reply to all.

Whilst writing, a good many fixes/updates are going through on the
newsip platform to resolve any rough edges we're getting on Centrex
usage (things like cross-calling + transfering between newsip and
old-pbx users), so I do continue to appreciate feedback on the user
experience.

thanks
peter
